It was nowhere near the same distance you had to deal with, but I had to move my first challenger to different places in the first several years I had it just to keep it out of the rain - the roof and rear deck leaked badly. I had it stashed in my father-in-law's barn in PA for a while, then friends kept it in a warehouse for a while. Eventually I had to take it back when I only had a one-car garage where of course my wife's car had first dibs LOL. I had to back it down the driveway once and that was when I found out that yellow jackets love Hemi Orange - I accidentally dropped the right rear wheel into a drainage ditch. Out they came, from every cavity in the car. I had to go out the window Dukes style and did the 100 yard dash in 10 sec, never to be repeated...

I eventually built one of those steel arch garages for it which is a whole saga in itself. But anything to keep it indoors.
ah dang, sounds like you had a tougher time keeping it dry and and protected though. al the buildings except the old corn crib on the farm had been upgraded with metal panels and roofs just a couple years prior to me getting the challenger so it remained in a relatively safe area. At least you managed to find a way to get it tucked away somewhere secure though!

Welcome to FEBO from the desert! Very nice looking Challenger. And yes, the 512 ci stroker kit option is the best deal in my book! A few more cubes, a better rod ratio and less block prep!
thanks! yea absolutely, i had wanted the 500 cid just because it being a nice round number, but it was the exact same price for the 512 and 440source had said that it was more popular and i forget what else as it was 2 years ago when i bought the engine parts but considering that, ended up going for that instead then.

Greetings from Nebraska. Nice to have you with us.
hey thanks, ha you're way way west over there. Ive never been that far west but i know my grandparents from time to time like to go west to see the sandhills. Bet the scenery is crazy different from the east side. Nice to be here on FEBO though
