Nice, how close is it on width?
Very interested in seeing the final results.

Any updates on these dash swaps? I'm thinking about doing the same for my swap. I was also thinking about using universal Dakota digital 5" gauges in the cluster. I already have the challenger center console.

No. I got the dash frame powder coated. Car is in paint and dash is still not installed. I was a lot of work to make everything fit. AC lines were especially trying. I think overall it will be an advantage because I have stock wiring harness, and most electronics will be plug and play (hopefully)

Did you use vintage air? We're the refrigerant lines hard or the vent hoses? I'm planning to use classic auto air, but it's basically the same thing.

Do you have any additional photos you can share?

No all stock hellcat AC lines. That was what made it difficult. My AC is all stock hellcat from compressor to condenser and hellcat controls.

Yeah, that seems hard to do. So I take it you have all the factory AC controls and airbox under the dash too?
How was the fitment of the frame and dash itself? I'm using a challenger center console and I thought it would look nice paired with the factory Dash. Dakota Digital makes nice individual 5-in Speedo and tachometer with message display centers. Thinking I can make something with the factory gauge bezel from the dash to fit them.

Everything including controls are stock hellcat. Fitting dash frame was tricky. It had to be cut several places and modified. But wasn’t so difficult as to recommend not doing. I also have the hellcat console with AC controller. The dash itself and all the pieces we about $2000 . Had to buy the frame, dash, then glove box assembly sold separately—- I also had to buy the stupid glove box latch separately. Ebay parts are bare bones.

Overall, a hellcat dash and all the accessories is doable, if that’s direction you want to go. Certainly wasn’t any harder than replacing quarter panels and floors. I believe I will be happy I did after I get done. Good luck on you project.

I have a lead on a dash for $700 with vents, glove box and lower panel under the steering wheel. I dont need the gauges or any electronics. After you cut the dash up, did you have to re cover it?
