Hey all, it’s been a long damn time for me in here. But it’s the only group I can think to ask, with what I’m trying to figure out.
So im trying to help my grandmother clean and organize her garage mostly tools and old parts that my grandfather had left before he passed several years back.
Most of the items were fairly straightforward and easy to offload to help my grandma make some extra money but I’ve run into something that is outside of my wheel house and I can’t find much to compare them to.

It’s a pair of hemi carbs. 4236 and 4235 for a crossram I believe.
I don’t know what these things are actually worth fair price wise but I know it’s a bit more than some random odd 727 transmissions and tail shafts.
they both used to race back in the day but she doesn’t really have any contacts that are into this anymore… and very few were into hemi stuff either.
So I need some advice on how to help her as best I can.

From Speedway Motors: Holley still offers original list number carburetors for highly collectible muscle cars. Over time these carburetors have been nearly impossible to find, but no longer. These are NEW nearly exact reproductions of the originals. List Number 0-4235 is the 770 CFM "Right Side" Carburetor that Originally came on 1964-65 426 Wedge and 1968 Chrysler 426 HEMI Engines using the Cross Ram Intake Manifold. Original Castings will have the O.E. Number 2946263.

Do the carbs have the OE Mopar numbers on them?

They didn't come on 64-65 wedges. 4235/4236 are 68 Dart/Cuda. (Crossram carbs). I will look up the dates for you to see what you have. Obviously, originals that came on these cars are probably worth more money. They repopped them forever and I only paid $500 each for the last Holley remans I bought straight from Holley.

More photos would be nice. There are slight differences between how some parts were made in 68 and 2000

Ok, I think I got to the bottom of it. Holley used 3 digit date codes until the early 70's. So they didn't come on a new Dart or Barracuda. The ones for my old 65 are dated 404. So that's the 4th week of October 1964. So that is what would be proper for a new 1965 Super Stock Dodge or Plymouth. Yours are 4 digit date codes. So the first 3 digits are the day of the year and the last digit is the year. So hers were made in 79, 89, 99 etc. They are still worth money. But they aren't really rare. They used to be expensive before the repops. If you want to know how to NOT sell them, just look at the stupid prices on ebay and other forums. They ask way too much money for them and aren't sold after many years. Not selling them won't help your grandmother. If you want to SELL them, price them reasonable and some old geezer with no use for them will buy them just because they used to be rare/expensive. I paid $1,000 for the last pair of date code correct 65 carbs that I bought. I would ask $750 for the pair if they looked good. If you have any of the linkage that's a plus.

Where would I find those at?

Here’s some more pictures.
Not sure what would be most helpful, I see patent numbers on them.
