As a few of you know I have a pretty nice 70 cuda that is built for street/strip duties. I have had this car 7 years and drove it in our wedding so it does have some memories. I just bought a 71 cuda that is a nice driver/cruiser and has a fresh 440 in it. I want to keep one but I cant decide which car to keep. If I sold my 70 it would be rolling chassis or less motor..then all that cash would be dumped into the 71....help me :eusa_wall:
I dont have any pics of the 71 yet but it is a nice driver that sounds and runs good.

I'm with Dan! Never had a 70 Cuda but had a 71 340 Cuda and a whole flock of 70 Challengers. At one time I had 12 cars with the majority of them being E bodies. I'm now down to 4 with only a 66 Belvedere which is the oldest car I own now. The next oldest is a 95 Dakota......and I miss my 71 the most.

I dont know if I can afford to keep both. I also have a 67 coronet r/t 440 4 spd dana car,1969 340 4 spd dart swinger, two other 69 dart parts cars, 67 coronet 500 parts car,68 coronet parts car and a 74 charger. I think it might be time to get serious about parting all these cars now!!

As we all know it comes down to money. I have owned my 70 440-6 Cuda since 1978. Around 1988 I came across a black 1971 Hemicuda shell which had been a race car and needed tons of work, nose had been cut off etc...I dragged that body around from move to move for over 10 years. Some time around 1999 I ran into some financial problems and had to make the decision, sell the 71 Hemi or the 70 Six Pack. Even though the 71 Hemi would have been worth much more when completed than the 70 is today, I sold the Hemi because I was too attached to the Six Pack. My point is, you can only do what you are financially able to do, other than that it comes down to which one means the most to you. I also favor 70's because my first new car was a 1970 Ultra Violet, 340 Cuda 5/70. Which I sold in 4/78 to get married. Lucky for me my new wife realized how much I missed the car and in 11/78 talked me into buying my present Six Pack Cuda and she has put up with me and the car ever since.

That's what I did. I've always liked the 66-70 B body and not too long ago, I had 2 66 Belvedere post cars, a 67 Belvedere rag top and a 67 Coronet parts car. I kept the best 66 post (had that one for over 20 years now), sold the 67 rag top project car and the 67 Coronet just left about a week ago. I feel like a huge load was lifted off of me even tho I hated to see any of them go lol

Personally I far prefer the 70
Having said that why would you sell either if you have a bunch of A bodys you could liquidate instead .
I would sell something else over either cuda

No disrespect to the "A" bodies some fine cars in there own right, but I agree with Chryco!

Just my opinion but I bet with condition being equal you could find at least a dozen "A" body cars for every "E" body one.
