or sale is a complete set of 8 KB215-.020 pistons for a Mopar 400-based 451 stroker build.
They have been sitting on my shelf for a project I'll probably never get around to, they are new in the original box, which has shelf wear.

These pistons include full-floating wrist pins and spiral locks.

This combination uses the stock-length 400/383 B-engine rod, not the longer 440 rod.
The KB215 piston is designed to work with a Chrysler 400 low-deck B-block, a 3.750-inch stroke 440 crankshaft, and 6.358-inch 400/383 rods.

Basic 451 stroker combination:

Block: Chrysler 400 B-block
Crank: 440 crankshaft, 3.750-inch stroke
Rods: 400/383 B-engine rods, 6.358-inch length
Pistons: KB215 stroker pistons
Bore: Approximately 4.362" with these .020-over pistons
Displacement: Approximately 448–450 cubic inches, depending on final bore and setup

With KB215 pistons, a typical open-chamber iron head in the 88–90 cc range will usually put the engine near a pump-gas-friendly compression range around 10:1
Smaller chamber heads can raise compression quickly.
If using smaller chamber heads, the quench pad is designed to be milled down if necessary, to reduce compression.

The 451 combination is popular because the 400 low-deck block’s 9.980-inch deck height works very well with the 3.750-inch 440 crank.
This setup creates a strong, quick-revving big-block Mopar that acts more like a small block.

Price: $370.00 plus shipping from 78596.
