Is it just me or do E-bodies just don't look that great with monster meats in the back?

depends who you ask. some (not all) e-bodies have more HP than they can hook to the pavement. spinning the tires is cool, but so is accelerating at warp speeds. they are, mutually exclusive. often-times, that means more meat.

Big, but not too big.
Not a fan of the mini tub with 15" wide tires, just too much IMO.

Yea or nay!

I would have to say just enough. 315's with a mini tub on my blue Challenger and 295's with all stock everything on my red Challenger.

I really like the look of 275s in back and 235s in front. Just about the perfect stance.

As far as hooking up, it's REALLY impressive what the FAST guys are doing and how fast they're going on little tiny non-drag tires.

I personally love the look of pro street cars and have owned/built a few over the years. These days with today's tires, shocks and suspension technology big tires are not really needed.

I prefer the look of 275s over mini tubs and giant fat tires. Although the folks that go a little bigger, their rides look great too. I love them all. 😂

Tire sizes are like women. Hope my Angel don't see this.

Big, little or short or tall, wish I could've kept them all
I loved 'em every one
Like to thank 'em for their charms, holdin' me in their arms
And I hope they had some fun

They all ride different!

What a sad world we would live in if everyone liked the exact same thing?! Back in the day, it was race slicks or tire spin as the factory polyglass biasply tires just would not hook up well! Heck you could soon the right rear tire with a slant six!

Personally, I like what will fit without altering the factory suspension (i.e. no mini tubing and about 295 max width). I'm more of a twisted road racer these days than squirt or roundy round racing! And tires today grip so much better than in the 60s and 70s!

My son loves his 2015 Challenger Scat Pack, but he bought my 1996 Neon from me because it handles like it's on rails too! I think only my 98 Dakota and 89 Cummins have the stick width tires in them. Everything else is wider than factory including the wife's 300 hemi. I'm putting bigger wider tires and wheels on the 64 Imperial too!
