Motor vin location

Hello, I'm trying to locate my vin stamp on my 1974 360 Cuda. I found the one on the trans, but can't seem to find the one on the motor due to it being painted. Can someone please give me an exact location to sand of some paint to verify numbers matching ?

IIRC, it is generally near the middle, but really the side of your engine block isn't that long. Just look for that raised pad shown in the pic I linked.

I FOUND IT !!!! Woot , Numbers matching, seller didn't know for sure. Thank you again.

There is another engine number stamp on the driver's side just below the front head-to-block area below the valve cover. Good info.
