The guys who "fixed" my Chally the last time used a 70 rt frt suspension and the bearing size is smaller than it should be for a 74. Does anyone near Cambridge, Ontario have such a thing? Trade you for the 70 one year only spindle perhaps? Thx for a reply!

The larger spindle will require a different disc brake rotor; are they different sizes now?

I believe the outer bearings are the same size , it is the inner bearing that are different size. And they both use the same size rotors (10-7/8") If I remember correctly the '70-'72 were a two piece rotors and '73 -'74 were a one piece rotor.

I believe they do and I've got a pair of new rotors for a 74. They are different sizes and I don't fancy chasing down 2 different rotors in future. I heard that the A body spindles off a 73-76 were the same. Is that true? To b5bluert- yes, they are one piece on the 74. Thx for the replies.
