I'm trying to jig up those little inner quarter panel to floor stamped brackets. I appears that on my 71 Challenger, those brackets were originally angled differently on right and left sides. I've found several instances of things being misaligned from the factory (the entire package tray, webbing is about 2 degrees off level as from the factory).I guess if they don't interfere with the rear seats, etc., there should be no problem, just eyeball them and weld?

What does 2 degrees translate to in inches or millimeters?
I have seen posts by some members about panel placement and their accuracy...... The consensus is varied but if I remember correctly, folks agree that the factory measurements are within 1/8" +/- 1/16" .
I have welded up several jigs (1x1x1/8 tubing) for the openings in the cab. Doors, front and rear glass and the trunk .... and all the jigs fit in the cars we have tried so far (4), very well.
Good luck....
