powertrax diffs

Has anybody had experience with powertrax limited slip diff centres in 8 3/4.
They are a spiral gear type

Which one? One thing I have heard is that their quality can be hit and miss. And the bad part about it is that some of the units cannot be services. Check on those issues with the vendor.

I have a powertrax in my 77 ramcharger 9 1/4. Works great for my 4x4. Never had any issue with it. Have not used it on a hotrod car w/ 8 3/4.
