Does anyone know if a 15x8.5" wheel has rubbing issues in a 70 Challenger, front or rear? I found a cool set of old rims I'm thinking about buying. My dad and i crawled around the car trying to measure it up, looks like the back space will be ok for the fronts if i use a smaller tire, back we couldn't tell if it would rub the wheel well lip. Any input would be great. Thanks

I run 15" x 8" with 3.75 back spacing on the rear of mine. The tire is a 275/60 R15. There is still room on the inside and the outside would be close if the suspension were about an inch and a half lower. So if your wheels have a 4 to 4.250 backspacing you should be good.
I can't say anything about the front, though.
