looking for recommendations on the proper finish and presentation of some used sliding door wedges

these parts show some pitting on the screws and steel base area

1) what do nos originals look like?
2)is there an electro- plating type
finish on the visible area were the wedge slides? Or the whole frame work?
3)would the worn slider wedge affect door Anti-rattle ability
4)is this center slider bronze or brass or?
5) are the repo “door side“ wedges Like factory plastic covered steel?
6) is there any paint applied To the back side? Or anywere, and what type if so

any suggestions would be appreciated
and help to get a 1970 challenger convertible‘s Finishing touches worked out 🤙

Well to start with ,
a little laq thinner
to remove the silver paint
simple green and water degrease
massage the tabs out a bit in the back

the driver side slider shows more worn
as well as a little binding while sliding back intermittently
passenger side slides without issues
