Hello all,
I'm in the process of restoring a '70 Challenger and I have a question before I throw money at a new rally hood .
Has anyone had experience with the repro. hoods that Goodmark for example is distributing.
I'm saying distributing because they may or may not be stamping them themselves.
What I'm after is comments from any of you that have had experiences relating to fit ,finish, bracing, general quality, etc.
Do the OEM hood inserts fit in a repro hood ???

Any repro part is going to need some work to fit. It doesn't matter if it's a Goodmark or AMD part. Nothing is going to fit perfectly out of the box. The main thing I would want to know about the repop hood is if the scoops fit properly. That was a good question to ask. Other issues can be fixed easier then the scoops not fitting I would think. I hope you find the answers you are looking for.

The original hood to my car was used for the build but both fenders were Goodmarks. It took a lot of work to get the fenders right. I don't know anything about the hoods though.
