Repro Rallye hood Challenger -70 issues

Have recently installed a repro Rallye hood on my 70 challenger and the front inner structure measurement is off? Difference in height so the striker does not get down to the lock mechanism. Difference from original hood is about 3/4 inch (20 mm) lower when measured. I've tried to find information if anyone else has had this problem. Repro hood is about 12-13 years old. Don't know which brand I bought at that time.

70 was different than the other years on a lot of things including hoods and truck lids. The aftermarket tries to make a one piece that fits all five years 70-74. Unfortunately, there were differences.
