Hey all. Looking for recommendations for a restoration shop in the southeast. I’ve got a 70 Barracuda that I’m looking to have body and paint work done. Not real sure on engine, suspension and brakes yet but most likely a 440 6bbl as I have a lot of 6bbl stuff already. This car was sold out of my parents dealership, Mahopac Chrysler Plymouth and I’ve owned it since ‘77. I’m finally in a position to do a full resto/restomod on it and I’m looking to getting the ball rolling.

Mid-Atlantic Customs in Maryland has done 2 E body convertibles for me. They are excellent. Both took around 6 months to get through the shop. They can be found on facebook. Excellent body and paint work and mostly MOpars.

I’m going to recommend the place I used to get my stalled 70 SE Project back in gear. Check out a place called “The Finer Details” in Danville Indiana. This shop specializes in these old Mopars, with access to a variety of hard to find parts, and pieces. Not just an E Body shop - but well worth taking a look.
