Hello all,
I am a new member here but used this site multiple time to find answers about my 72 Challenger. I finally decided to join up and ask a question that I can not find a answer too. My roof passenger side support ( I think that what is called) is rusted out pretty bad. I have been trying to find a replacement but could not find one. I am guessing they do not make one. That part has a weird design to it like the channel for the drip rail and a strange curve going into the window frame. Question is do I have to reproduce the part as close to the original as I can or can I just cut the rust and weld in a patch without the drip rail channel and that strange curve? I will try to upload a photo so everyone can see the part I am talking about.
