While not an official show everybody wanted to get their cars out, So I got to take the Convertible for its first outing. Parked next to Bill's 71 RT. I have seen the car at several shows, and always voted for it, but never had the opportunity to talk to Bill. What a great guy with a great story. Bill is the original owner and bought it brand new in 71. He recalls a little confusion with the salesman and when the car was delivered it wasn't what he expected. He didn't want to wait for them to get another so he went ahead and took this one with the N96 shaker hood... LOL

Very nice! Is that the show at the Winn-Dixie? I’m in Apollo Beach and also have a 71 Challenger? It’s a work in progress with a 528 Hemi 5-speed shaker.... See you guys there sometime!

Yes, They didn't have the DJ or cruiser of the month. Just a friendly get together because everybody was itching to get out. About 40 cars showed up. My brother is the DJ and since he didn't have to work he brought the red Cobra to the right of Bills car, and there is a George Barris 50 Merc behind Bill, Some real nice cars in this area.

Sounds good..... you probably know my neighbor Gene with the red 65 GTO 389Tri/4-SP.... surprising the amount of really cool cars in the area.....
