So i took out the cluster to install clock tach in non-rallye dash. When reinstalling I know have a random short/draw thats been moving. First it was in the amp meter. then moved to the temp sensor ( keyed power temp needle pegs hot). was able to make it disappear for a bit behind the light switch panel by uninstalling and reinstalling panel. might be a short to ground. not sure? please help not the best at trouble shooting elec. problems

Grounds are always a problem. Check for corrosion at all contact points. Check for any bare insulation on any wires, Use dielectric grease on all cleaned contacts to stop corrosion and water proof the contacts.
