A lot of these prices were considered high at the time. I had all the news letters but they were destroyed when I got hit by hurricanes back to back.

I have my old SIAC and CCOA newsletters as well. Back then we couldn't import those cars into Canada as they weren't old enough. Still burns my butt.

I have all my SIAC newsletters as well as a couple of decals and patches. It was a great club. We had 2000+ members at one time. Jeff Johnson did a great job. I joined in 1982 when Al and Butch founded the club.

We parted everything, back then. In the last 45 years, I've scrapped 2 hemi-cars, 1 superbird, 2 T/A's, an AAR, and too many other mopars to remember.

I grimace at the thought of the cars that I either parted out or sold back in the late 1970's and early 80's.
Had a 70 Challenger RT 440-6 w a factory shaker in B-7, blue (parted), a 70 Gran Coupe vert in burnt orange with a 383 and white leather interior, (project car at the time and needed work (sold.) The list could go on. I've sent some original build sheets that I kept to Barry Washington, hoping that the current owners could get them back with the car.
They were "just old cars" at the time,
I'm glad I kept the A66 vert that I still have now!

I have a few of those newsletters, too. I love the one with Jeff Johnson saying that people are crazy asking $7500 for a T/A.

It was a pain selling stuff back then. You would have to take photos, get them developed, mail them through the Post Office and wait for a response. It took a week then to do what takes 10 minutes today.

It was also when I made the most money. People are lazy, and I did the hustling.......and was paid well. Now, there's no cheap stuff to buy....or money to be made. I miss the old days of doing that stuff. It was fun, AND paid well.

Ebay has made everyone think they are sitting on gold.
