Tail panel paint

I'm sure this has been asked before, but is the tail panel black satin, matte or flat? Also, best rattle can brand to use? Classic Industries has a Black Organisol paint, and SEM also offers a black textured paint a bit cheaper. Thoughts?

Hotrod black doesn’t look bad. I haven’t painted a rear body panel with it but, if budget is important check it out.
