Hi,
I have 1967 TF727 transmission in 1970 Challenger. Tranny has 1-prong neutral safety switch without back-up light switch.
From various Mopar forums I learned that updating to 3-prong switch with backup lights (1969 and up) would need also new "rooster comb" inside the tranny.
How difficult is it to replace the rooster comb? The tranny is in the car so I would need to do it from underneath.
Another option would be to fabricate some kind of back up light switch to the Slapstik inside the cabin. Has anyone done that?
