Wow I didn't know dog dish hub caps were aluminium I thought they were chrome plated steel like most.

Steel hubcaps? That means they would rust. Name or show a chrome plated steel hubcap for us please.

Usual materials are aluminum and stainless steel. With bolt on pot metal ornamentation.

Most of the ones around here are chrome plated steel or stainless steel I suppose because it doesn't snow and they don't use any salt on the roads there is no rust problems with them you do see some with surface rust. I haven't had any US Mopar hubcaps my Challenger came with it's original W15 wire wheel hubcaps (very different to normal hubcaps and very heavy) I replaced the wheels with W23 Magnum 500's because they really suit the car and my Cuda came with ralley wheels. I haven't had much to do with hubcaps all my vehicles have been better optioned with proper wheels.
