What is the best way to hook up a transmission cooler on a 73 340 Cuda car ?

Some say to hook it up independent from the radiator ?

What's your take on this - independent or through the radiator ?

Thanks to all

Depends on the size of the cooler. If it is small it needs to go to the radiator and the cooler to have enough fluid volume for the transmission.

sapulpa, ok
for a mild combo in the radiator is fine, i run mostly strip cars that see some street use and on them i put a tranny cooler above and in front of the rear axle, its up high away from road debris and gets plenty of air. and it cleans up the engine compartment alot without the lines running up there.
