Hi. I'm converting my Challenger to a four speed. I have my heart set on using my V gate. It was on my A body trans. The linkage looks like factory stuff. Not sure though. Has anyone used one of these shifters with E body linkage Or am I making some? Save me time if i could just order a set from Brewers. They were not sure if the factory stuff would work either. Thanks

I wouldn't think the Abody rods to be the same length as the Ebody due to the shift adapter bosses on the trans are further back.

However, there's this for the VGII....

Hi sorry. I probably didn't word that right. It was set up on an A body trans and the rods looked like the factory A body ones. I could be wrong there. I was just wondering if anyone has done a v gate in an E body and if the E body factory linkage would work.

V Gate uses its own shift linkage from Mr. Gasket. Much thicker than oem shift rods.
