Mr.Cuda, Is that a factory dob of seam sealer in the middle of the clip? Installed while the clip/rocker molding was installed?

The factory clip has a neoprene foam seal built in.

I have no idea, but they kinda look like the picture of the one on eBay but twisted into the moulding.

So these are correct then? Do I need 8 or 10? Also, any idea how large a hole I have to make in the rockers to accommodate these?

I picked these up a few years ago and they match the single that I had. It takes 5 on each side with one screw on each end. It looks like a 5/16 hole, but don't hod me to this. The car is up on a lift so I can get you a more accurate diameter later. I might have picked up an extra one or two just to have.

1/4 drill bit, too loose. 5/16 drill bit too big. 11/32 is perfect.

So there's a guy on Ebay who has them, but his profile and account are in "Vacation" mode.

There are clips that hold it on as well as the 2 screws on the ends. My clips were wide white plastic clips that screwed to the body. Perhaps they were not original and were used after the car was painted many years ago.

I should clarify that the clip picture I posted to compare with the new ones that were available, are for 70 GC.
71 clips are different, and I can't say I've ever seen a 71 GC.
