This is my issue.. I don’t think the rivet was ever peened over. So it’s moving the pin/rivet when the hood opens or close’s.

No idea on the quality of the reproductions but did you check with Rick Kreuziger on his current turnaround time?
I sent my hinges to him and he shipped them back to me done within a few days of receiving them... Highly recommended.
