The pictured starter, part number 2875560, is actually a 1970 model year starter assembled in the 25th week of 1969. The housing, or nose, casting number 2875553, was cast in the second week of April, 1969.

Starter number 2875560 was used 1970 -1972. The notable changes from the prior starter, number 2095150, is the two-bolt, rubber-gasket brush plate and housing change for better sealing and simpler assembly, and the removal of the center support bushing. The starter retained the 1.3 hp rating with three series, and one shunt, small field coils of starter number 2095150.
