I am looking for a little help on assembly of the column key release lever on my 73 Challenger. Does anyone have information on the spring location and connection for the column. I have looked at the video posted on assembly of the column, but the column shown does not have the release lever. Also the video posted by Cuda Cody shows his contact info (web sites) but the sites are not secure and will not allow me to access Any help would be appreciated, Thanks.

Dont know if this is a help. If I remenber, the sping arches over the center some how and the is a round stub it goes on. Others might know better or have a picture.
I have all the parts and I'm pretty sure the springs round end goes on the pin I have it on. Not sure where the other end goes.
OK I got the spring figured out. The other end attached to a small hole in the tube. Now is there supposed to be a spring washes on the end of the tube before installing the release lever. My column did not have a washer when I disassembled

Would you post a picture. The arrows show where I was thinking. It can help others. I would have got back to you soon. But I had to B and E and change a few locks.
The first picture top arrow is the tube where t hole is for the spring.
The bottom arrow is where I'm asking if I need the spring washer (or wavy washer shown in the video from Cuda Cody). The video shows a 70' column restoration. So, 70' had a lock tube not this release lever, and I'm wondering if the spring washer is needed only on the 70' column. I'm 100% sure my column did not have a spring washer between the top of the tube and the release cone.
The second picture shows the release cone mounted on the tube with the spring in place.
Hope the pictures will help someone else out who forgets how they took it apart.
