F70-14 Goodyear Polyglas

In case anyone wants to see what the reproduction F70-14 Polyglas looks like on a 73 Challenger. I just installed these today after purchasing from another member on this forum. The tires drive much nicer than I imagined and the look is exactly what I was going for. Perfect for my driving style as my wife and I enjoy cruising the coast and the gold country at normal driving speeds.

tires were purchased new in 2021 and were garage kept with minimal miles since new.

the original bias-ply polyglass tires were not anything you would want to drive on. they were slippery and unsafe compared to modern tires.

these remakes of the polyglas are modern radial tires and handle just as well (it not better) than you BF Goodwitch and the like.

Always liked the look. When I would clean them up, afterwards I would use a paint stick on the white lettering.

Thanks for posting these as well. Think this is the route I plan on going down. They are expensive if you get them new, something for me to consider.

Thanks for the complinent, I really like the F8 (?) dark green metallic on your car with the W23 road wheels and no vinyl top, it`s a great color combo. I wounder what it would look like with the rallye strobe stripes out of the side scoops on your car...(black or white).....humm?

Nope, the remakes are not radial tires, they are still bias ply construction.
