1970 Challenger verts on tv

Seen a couple of cool Challenger convertibles in movies on tv last night and tonight. There is a orange R/T in Natural born killers crappy movie but cool car and there is a blue one in The Dilemma starring Vince Vaughn great movie and very cool car until Channing Tatum beats the hell out of it with a baseball bat.

The cable channel "Aspire" started broadcasting old episodes of the Mod Squad which always has a number of cool Challenger convertible Mopars including the infamous gold 1971 Challenger convertible modified with the 72 grille and tail lights.

Not a Challenger, but let's not forget the Brady Bunch Barracuda!

I don't know if members have ever seen this, but the Internet Movie Cars Database lists cars by make and model and the movie venue they were seen in. Kind of cool!

That Barracuda is cool I remember seeing in in a few episodes, they put a 1972 tail light panel and lights in in the latter episodes I wonder what engine it had and if it still exists.

The Natural Born Killers Challenger is actually an FE5 Bright Red Car - 383 R/T Convertible. It looks somewhat orange on film due to fading and being dusty.

I remember a Brady Bunch episode when Bobby poke a hole in the convertible top with an umbrella at the drive in. I think Greg had to take him with him on a date. I'm pretty sure it was the Barracuda.

The Natural Born Killers Challenger is actually an FE5 Bright Red Car - 383 R/T Convertible. It was painted an orange/red color for the movie and with it being very dusty looks more orange. It is going to be restored back to FE5 Bright Red. Here’s a current photo of it.
