73 to 70 rear bumper swap

Good morning forums! I’m currently working on a 73 Challenger. The rear bumper had been damaged at some point in the cars life so I wanted to replace it. The plan is to swap the factory rear bumper with the 1970 bumper. Here’s my roadblock. The factory bumper I own has an inner support...

    73 hood lip molding

So I just got my hood lip molding in the mail today for my car. I’m going to be installing after I get it painted. I just want to be sure I am going about it the correct way. I screw up through the bottom edge of the molding into the front lip of my hood right? I’m having a hard time finding...

73 to 70 challenger rear bumper swap

Alright, I've sifted through the forums here and wanted to get a general consensus from the group. I'm looking at purchasing a new rear bumper for my 73 challenger. I'm not running the bumper guards currently and have no plans to. From what I have read, it looks like I have a couple options in...

1973 challenger Throttle cable / pedal assembly

Hey folks, thanks for taking the time to check out this post. I'm having a little trouble getting any good diagrams / pictures of the retaining clip and throttle cable assembly on my challenger. Specifically where the cable attaches to the pedal assembly and the retention clip. My service manuel...

    Muffler inlet location

Thanks for the response guys. Leo I had a buddy with a couple mufflers laying around that he was willing to give me-figured I would check and see if they would work. I'm moving up from a 2.5 split dual to a 3 xpipe with turn downed tips just before the rear axel.

Heya Matt, thanks for the warm welcome! Funny you mention it, I have removed that whole exhaust setup and I'm looking to replace it. Do you have any experience or advice as to Center Inlet mufflers for before the rear axle is it possible to install them?

    Muffler inlet location

Hello all- Had a random muffler related question I was hoping someone out there had some experience with. I am getting ready to get a new headers back exhaust system ran and was looking at how most of these cars seem to have an offset inlet for their mufflers. Have any of you out there ever ran...

I picked it up already done. Was not running at the time but only needed a little timing and tinkering with the FI. Have swapped the intake manifold and upgraded torsion bars so far. Still plenty of things to work on.

So what we have here is a 1973 dodge challenger that began life as a 318 AT car. Currently holds a 440 that supports a pair of ProComp aluminum heads topped off by an edelbrock torker II intake and MSD Atomic fuel injection system. Inside the 440 the heart of a fairly conservative .477 lift...

Any one Running: Flowmaster Super 10s

Hey hog. I had a buddy that ran these on a 340 that he had installed on a 76 pickup. Sounded pretty crazy, super loud but a decent idle. Engine was also fairly pumped up with a choppy idle.
