So what we have here is a 1973 dodge challenger that began life as a 318 AT car. Currently holds a 440 that supports a pair of ProComp aluminum heads topped off by an edelbrock torker II intake and MSD Atomic fuel injection system. Inside the 440 the heart of a fairly conservative .477 lift hydrolic lifter cam beats steadily. All this is backed by a 727 with a shift kit and an 8 3/4 rear end that is holding a freeway screaming 2.45 gear ratio. I definitely plan on sourcing a replacement pumpkin with somthing more stoplight to stoplight eventually.

I picked it up already done. Was not running at the time but only needed a little timing and tinkering with the FI. Have swapped the intake manifold and upgraded torsion bars so far. Still plenty of things to work on.

Welcome to the site from the Motor City! Nice Challenger! Since you bought the car that way might I suggest moving those mufflers out of site?

Heya Matt, thanks for the warm welcome! Funny you mention it, I have removed that whole exhaust setup and I'm looking to replace it. Do you have any experience or advice as to Center Inlet mufflers for before the rear axle is it possible to install them?
