    body shell

The strange thing is that if it weren’t for the poor fitment of the window molding and trunk you’d think the filler panel was in the right spot. The bottom corners of the filler panel create the curved corners of the trunk and it’s prrfectly lined up. Moving the filler panel will create its own...

Thanks, yeah thats one of my fears that the bolt holes for various things will be just a hair off. I guess id have to break out the welder, fill the holes and tap new ones for a correct fit. Hopefully it wont come to that.

I left a voicemail. Not too happy about it. Here's a short video walk through of the body shell. Overall it looks great. Just praying there isnt other fitment issues.

Took delivery of the shell. Out of the gate I found a problem...the deck filler doesn’t sit where it needs to be. I first noticed it from the way it was pushing the trunk lid out. I ruled out the possibility of a misshaped trunk lid and further confirmed it when I compared the fitment of the...

Yeah I’m anxious to see it in person. I’ll send more photos once it’s here. Everything appears to look exact to factory spec when I compare photos however there’s a few holes on the passenger side of the firewall that aren’t in my current 70 challenger and I’m not sure what they’re for.

Update: so I’ve decided to pull the trigger on the Dynacorn body shell. This is 1 of 2 available on the market but word is they will start to manufacture them again after SEMA. I haven’t taken delivery but these are the photos of the shell before it ships my way. I’ll post more info once I...

    Plum Crazy Purple

I'm having some difficulty finding plum crazy purple paint for my challenger. Not too long ago Eastwood was selling it, but I know longer can locate it. Where do I find it?

Its literally everything. Just slap on the rear axle, k member, powertrain and then interior and its done. I mean I know its not that simple, but yeah its everything.

Ok so my 70 challenger is fixing to go into the metal shop. It needs new fenders, new hood, new valances, new door skins, new roof, new outer a pillar, new quarters, rear deck lid, frame rails, trunk floor, wheel houses... as you can see it pretty much needs the entire outer structure replaced...

    Custom hoods

Ah sorry I misunderstood, for some reason I thought you were referring to your carb setup. Do you know how much of a drop that drop base is supposed to be and the height of that air filter? The victor intake is just over an inch taller than a dominator according to summit racing so if I can...

Needing help w/ booster / pedal assembly removal

Thanks for the help. I managed to get the booster and pedal assembly out. I looked to the service manual, but found myself in a predicament. It called for the booster pushrod to be disconnected. However, the bolt that holds this in slides out to the left, which there was not enough clearance for...

    Custom hoods

Well I've got a 70 challenger r/t (originally plum crazy purple), but the previous owner appeared to have painted it red and now its sporting rust. It used to have a vinyl top, which I'm abandoning. It used to be a 4 speed car with a 383. When I received it it didn't have either. I'm planning on...
