    T/A Master Cylinder

Did ALL T/A Challengers come with the Part #2229171 master cylinder ?? Based on the price I've seen on eBay for these (even the cores), I am assuming it is a rather rare part. What made them different from other master cylinders? Any help with this question would be appreciated!

SOLD 70 AAR CUDA,70 T/A CHALLENGER MASTER CYLINDER

Is the "171" master cylinder the only one used on the T/A's? Is there a date code on your core? Can you show a picture of the date code, please? Thank you!!

    shift kit experience

The instruction sheet for the Turbo Action Cheetah valve body says that this application HAS TO have kick-down linkage. Sorry for the dumb question, but does my vehicle's stock kick-down linkage work ok with this part?

    Aftermarket T/a Hood?

^^^^^ So, is it a legitimate insurance claim to tell your agent you need a new hood because a teenage girl laid across it???? You just might make a "Farmers Insurance" commercial with that one!!! hahahahaaaahahahaa

Radio Delete Plate info - seeking input

I purchased a "rally dash" radio delete plate from Tony D'Agostino. It was a little pricy, but he located me an NOS piece. It may not be 100% factory correct, but boy does it look great! Only a true die-hard Mopar person will ever notice that it isn't ribbed. Honestly, in the black interior...

Neg Batt Cable - painted or not?

I spoke to Tony D'Agostino at Tony's Parts. He researched some photos of original T/A's for me. He reported that the negative terminal was painted at the block on all of the survivor vehicles he examined. Although I'm sure that there might be a few that escaped from the assembly line...

    T/A and AAR Hood paint

My original T/A hood is the same as Grady Cain. Organisol on top, and the underside is rough fiberglass with a similar hue, but different texture paint.

Neg Batt Cable - painted or not?

Should the negative battery cable on my '70 T/A 340 have 3-6 inches of engine paint on it where it bolts to the block, or should the entire cable be left unpainted? I know that some other engines (like the Hemi) had the neg cable attached prior to painting so that the engine paint covered the...

Radio Delete Plate info - seeking input

Yes!!! Please share!!! I wonder if this part is capable of being made by one of these 3-D printers???

Radio Delete Plate info - seeking input

Ok, thank you for the info. So I guess there (at least!) two of us looking for this part now

Radio Delete Plate info - seeking input

My '70 Challenger is a factory non-rally dash and radio delete vehicle. Well, since the radio was actually an option, it's more of a "radio-not-ordered" vehicle. Anyway, The plate where the radio would normally go is missing. Since the rest of the dash fascia is ribbed on a '70 non-rally dash...

I'll look in to this, Fly'nfish. Thanks! Am I correct that the bands themselves sometimes need to be tightened? and does this affect shift firmness?
