So now I’m breaking in new 360magnum. She’s running at 183 temp. And it’s 70 here. What’s average temperature it’ll run at.

Ok found it. So at higher rpm the flex plate rubbed the starter. Ughhh. Ground starter down a little. All set. Thanks guys.

Nope. I think it’s the inspection plate on bell housing. Taking it off tomorrow

Ok so I just replaced my 340 to a 360 magnum. At 2200 rpm’s there is metal rattle noise. Like a heat shield. Sounds like it’s at fire wall. Every thing is tight. Can’t find it. Driving me nuts. Any thoughts

ok have a question. is there a strap that is screwed to center console to stop seat belt from falling.

engine was total tear down. reids automotive. brought it to him, he says its a head gasket.only 11k for miles

thanks brought it to engine builder.they pulled valve cover and that was all good. put air in cylinder and it was leaking. so hes pulling head to change the gasket. hes blaming the 220 temp. guess im getting a bill on this.

i have a 73 challenger 340. engine has 11k on it. i was in traffic last month, temp got to 220. just last week i got blue smoke out right side. brought it to engine builder he said i blew a head gasket. i diidnt think 220 was that hot

have another issue 340 dual belt set up. one belt always squeals. who sells same cut belts
