440 big block aluminum heads ?

I just built a 440 stroker and I used 440 source CNC'd heads. For roller rockers I would say get good ones, Comp cams pro magnums are the ones I would use.

    71 Challenger RT stripe

I know they didn't make a 71 RT convertible, but I like the RT stripe. I'm putting a 440 six pack in it and they didn't offer that engine either. The original engine/trans/buildsheet/fender tag were lost before I got the car.

    71 Challenger RT stripe

I was looking at the pic I posted and I don't think the decal is right either. Shoot. I think I got it from classic industries but I gotta check.

    71 Challenger RT stripe

Does the RT stripe on a 1971 Challenger go under the door handle or was it cut around the handle? Mine over laps into the ridge were the door handle goes. It seems like it wont want to hold like that. I could easily take the door handle off and put it underneath or should a cut it a certain...

    Dash harness illustration.

I just went thru this with my 1971 challenger. I did it the old fashioned way with the electical diagram in the shop manual. I labled each conection on the old harness and tranfered it to the new. It took a little time. Now I have really good understanding of the dash wiring if any problems come...

    1970 Challenger convertible

I don't know exact numbers but that is a very rare car. Not many RT convertibles and even less with a 4 speed. Wikipedia says 953 RT convertibles. Probably many had a 383? How many with your options and that are left in existence? My guess is less than 50 and maybe lower. Sanman68

Paint the underside of a 1971 Challenger

The car is to drive. Some of the underside was painted from the factory (Red).

Paint the underside of a 1971 Challenger

I wanted to match the body color. I probably am not going to wet sand. Lizard skin? I will check into that.

Paint the underside of a 1971 Challenger

I want to paint the underside of my 1971 Challenger convertible. I don't need a show quality paint job and plan on using a single stage. My questions is can I paint the underside of my car without a rotisserie? I am think about getting tall jack stands or something to get the car up high enough...

    Challenger Convertible Top Wiring.

I would check the circuit breaker on the fuse box. It is a bi-metal switch when it gets warm the contacts open up and it breaks the circuit. The problem is our cars are old and the contact get corroded so no power to the top. It worked for me.

Front frame, torsion support and cowl replacement.

Hi I have a 1971 challenger convertible that was damaged in a accident in the 70s. They didn't do a good job repairing the car. I want to get it fixed correctly. My question is do any of the b body parts( front frame rails, torsion support or upper, lower cowl interchange with a e body? My car...
