Thanks. I think you are right about the dash pad. I was hoping to get around needing to buy a new one. Right now it is only 20 degrees out and about to snow and I am wondering why I am thinking about AC :).
Hey everyone! I have a 71 challenger that came with factory air. Unfortunately, the PO removed most of the parts and even installed a non-AC dash pad.
How hard would it be to cut the holes in the pad and install AC vents? Other than the holes to insert the vents is there anything different...
Am I missing a seal around where the top edge of the side windows meet the car? There is some rubber there but there is also the edge of a galvanized metal showing all along all the side windows, which makes me think either the PO installed the wrong seal or something is missing.

I have a 1971 Challenger with 1973 spindles and rotors. For the front calipers do they mount in the forward or rearward position? To swap them can the caliper mounting adaptor be moved from one side to the other or does the entire spindle need to be swapped side to side?
