AA Transmission has a several month back log so Im in the que. I have a high rise hemi four barrel manifold so the Hemi bracket doesn't work. Ordered a high rise bracket and hope that can tie to my manifold. Other wise will have to come up with some modifications to align what I have.
i had my car at a shop for a long time. The pulled most the wiring in the car which is no big deal. After twenty two years of sitting a new wiring harness won't hurt a thing with a new engine/transmission. I was looking at the wiring harness and didn't notice a plug that looked like it would...
I tried to order the whole assembly from AA transmission. They called today to let me that part is on back order and no expectation on when delivery will be. Bought the hemi bracket from classic this morning and will see what I can cobble together with the 440 assembly.
Thank you for the images. I went with a 850 cfm holley so I don't have the dual carb thing going on. Less work getting things to work in synch. Had a dual carb setup originally but the mechanic building the engine talked me out of it. I want a consistent running car that is very dependable...
Thanks I was going to talk to the person helping me with this project on his thoughts about these options. I was leaning towards buying the part because I commonly buy the wrong thing during my restoration thinking ebody parts were more common across years than I thought. I learn best buy...
I bought a 440 kick down linkage. I'm wondering if I buy the hemi bracket from classic auto if I could just take the 440 bracket out of the assembly if that would work. If not I can buy the complete assembly. It is expensive but doing it the right way is important to me. It is less than $500...
I have a high performance Entropy radiator which has female plug holes. The original Transmission line needs a male feed. What adaptor has anyone use to make the connection between the two?
I bought a kick down assembly for a 440 engine thing it would be the same as a hemi. Can anyone tell me where I can buy this part online. If that isn't possible a picture so I can have a machinist coble something together. Thanks.
I have a situation I'd appreciate some feedback on. I own a 1970 dodge challenger I put a 426 hemi in my car with tti 3 inch headers on the car. The flange on the header and exhaust connection blocks the ability to shift into park because the bracket is basically 1 inch to long when connected...
Beautiful car. I have a 70 vert originally 318 se model. I appreciate all the correct era items on the car and its almost new appearance. Wish you luck in selling the car. I pay cash for anything I buy and I don't have the scratch to make an offer. Significant medical bills last year for a...
Used to be a member in the 80's -90"s then my transmission/engine failed. Parked car in the August 2000 to replace transmission and engine. Started back up this year and slowly putting the car back together. Originally the car was a 318 SE with air conditioning. Basic dash and if I remember...
