Third place at Carlisle

We took my wife’s 440, real Ucode 1970 Challenger to Carlisle. This is loaded with factory A/C, rim blow, six way seat, rally gauges, dual mirrors, power top and AM/FM radio. The car got a lot of attention and took third place in the Ebody convertible class.

I have a 70 vert that has been sitting since my son was 3mths old. Recently put in a 70 hemi replacement block and just trying to find someone near me to help with the final locations of the wiring harness before starting it. I dynode the engine before putting it in the car so I want to be sure everything is done right. Body work and electrical are not my strengths. My son just turned 22 and due to health issues, I wanted the car running before I passed. As you know its worth alot more running than sitting in parts. It was nice clearing half my garage putting parts on it from 2000 I had bought previous to my third childbirth. Engine drive train died on my son's first ride. His sisters called it the vroom vroom car when it had a 360 crate engine in it. Was an original 70 vert SE 318 car two barrel. Did a lot of work on it before my marriage. Drove it to my marriage, honeymoon and friends Marriage in phoenix. Like to take it cross country but afraid someone would steal it because they are so unique. I appreciate your pristine example. It's beautiful. I believe the engine you have is the perfect engine for an ebody after customizing the hemi in it with 3 inch header/pipes. I have airconditioning on my car which means there is very little room left in the engine compartment.
