Ive heard that California cars never came with a build sheet is that true? Also the fender tag numbers and letters look different ? I think the plant was a letter E

They absolutely came in e-bodies. My '70 (BH23 C0E) built on 820 had one under the back seat .... for another BH23 C0E about 350 #s later. Mine is B5/B5, the sheet car is EW1/B5

There were two types of fender tag machines at the LA plant, so some cars got the "skinny font" tags, and others got the tags with the font like the Detroit-built cars.

Agree, when it comes to the LA-built cars the ones that do have them are in the minority.

I think broadcast sheets are more rare on E plant cars due to a no trash policy in the cars. They specifically threw away the Broadcast sheets so as to not clutter up the car. Imagine the amounts of broadcast sheets and occasional Build sheet too that would have been in dumpsters.

too bad it wasn't for mine. not that it's anything special, but it would have been nice to have. if anyone owns 100677 I'd gladly gift over the sheet.

here is my tag with the skinny LA font too

I'm pretty sure I sent it over to him a few years ago, but just in case I sent it again.
