New here to this site Just introducing myself. My name is RON REAGLE I am a lifelong Mopar guy (now 60) I was raised in a Mopar household and grew up with a 65 Barracuda 273 Commando 4 speed car my Dad bought new when I was a few months old. Our next "family" car was a 68 Charger R/T. I guess you could say "it's in my blood" LOL. My Dad was killed in a car accident when I was 13 so I never got to share the love of Mopars with him. I have had a pile of cars over the years and just recently bought a 70 Cuda 440 six pack that really makes me crazy (for now LOL) I've had a little of everything Mopar I'll share a few of my Favorites.
The first one is me 2 years old on the seat of the 65 Barracuda
The second is a 71 Barracuda 6 cyl I bought for $200 in 1983!!
My 71 Cuda 383 I bought in 2014
The 70 Challenger R/T 440 "SURVIVOR" I bought in 2015 featured in Mopar Collectors Guide March of 2020
My 65 Barracuda 360 4 speed
The 68 Barracuda 340-S fastback I restored in 2021
The 68 Barracuda fastback 451 Stroker I just sold in January
The 70 Cuda 440 six pack I just bought.

Welcome to FEBO. You have some nice catches. Good thing you got rid of one your stringer was getting full. Thanks for the fish story.

Howdy and welcome!
That survivor challenger is pretty sweet! Is it an orange interior? Or tan?
Is your cuda an original V code car? I recall seeing that paint scheme elsewhere. I'm curious now. Looks great with the AAR hood on it!

Found pictures of my 70 Challenger RT/SE 440 Six Pack clone I built from a basket case from 1999-2002 sold it in 2012 after 10 years of driving it to buy a new 2012 Challenger (mistake)

What I realized after buying the new Challenger is I'M AN OLD CAR GUY. I absolutely hated the new car with all the computerized gadgetry. I had no pride of ownership since all I did was write checks. It was just not for me. I traded it in on a new truck with 1,200 miles. When I bought the 71 Cuda later on it just felt "right"

I tried for a decade or more to get my wife into a newer car. If it was $500,$50000 or $50,000 we can pay cash. She just doesn't like the BS all though out the newer cars. Well hers got totaled And I thought we would be getting her newer one.:) NOPE! She wants it fixed or an other one like it.😦 Her theory is if I can't reach across, or in back to make corrective actions. (The son is all grown up and I'm the other person in the car).

I don't mind driving a beater. I go places like the Fracker Plant close to you and what I drive takes a beating. I did consider getting a newer challenger for her and would be her driver. It would have been mine too instead of my 71. But she shut me down when I told her it would be her driver.
I comply understand and this is why!
