Cuda Power Bulge Inserts

Looking for insight for the Cuda power bulge inserts, Seems like their are mostly painted black with many painted orange/red. Is there any rhyme or reason? Year? Exterior color? My Cuda is a "73 340. Original paint code is GK6.

rallye hood inserts are generally black.

Great question Kansas. If you’re not looking at Concours Resto color them to your choice. I had mine chromed and personally I think they Pop on the hood.

@Kansan while they were all black from the factory, the great thing is it's your car and you can paint them any color you want. Red, White or Yellow would stand out with your Autumn Bronze Metallic paint.
