Without the vinyl top, why bother with installing the SE window. Although they look neat, they are hard to see out of and it would take a bucket of bondo to fill in the area that is sure to crack and peel. IMO, your friend would be better off swapping his car for one more to his liking. I liked...
Not so......When I restored my 70 R/T SE Challenger back in 1998, no one had the one piece SE headliner. I had a parts car that had the bowed headliner. I robbed the bows and sail panels from that car and kept my SE window. I sold the car back in 2013 and don't have pictures of how the rear...
As they say....Never say never but as far as I know, the overhead console was part of the SE package along with the badging, leather seats, rear window plug, carpeted lower door panels and the rear garnish panel above the tail lights.
May not be your problem but one that I had a few years ago. My car always smelled of gas while driving and I could never figure out why. I checked for leakage everywhere and couldn't find it but stumbled on it by accident one day. It would never leak at idle but one day I was messing with the...
Here are some pics of the E body I rebuilt back in 98. Sold it in 2013. Got tired of trying to find 93 octane gas every 110 miles. Those triple Holleys were thirsty little buggers. Waved goodbye to it on a rainy night in November of 2013. The last pic is one the new owner sent me from near...
I bought a set of these for my Charger. I used my old brackets and they work just fine. Much cheaper than spending a ton of money to buy a over priced vintage pair that probably don't work any better that the ones you have.

I know what you mean but I don't know how to fix it. When I bought my 68 Charger back in 2014 I noticed it had the same issue on both front wheels. It had the original components and 14" magnum wheels. I have no idea how I fixed it but I rebuilt the front end parts, swapped the 14" wheels to 15"...
I'm not sure what your problem is but I can attest to having one vehicle with a similar problem. This was 30 years ago but my truck heater would provide heat at an idle but on the road it would not. I put the cardboard in front and it helped some but finally I ran into a guy that knew what was...
They are called "cat whiskers or window sweepers".
I don't think you can buy individual pieces though.
Mega Parts sells them but it looks like they are out of stock and it shows Hardtop. I'm not sure if Convertible uses different ones but someone should have new ones.
Body, Weatherstripping...
OK.....According to my research, any of these would work the same. (2820487, 2571501, 3431017, 3431020, 3895033)
3895790 runs the compressor constantly in defrost mode
3502126 runs the fan on low when ignition is on and all buttons off.
Those are the different switches I have tested and all will...
I suspect loose or bad connections at the switch. I would try to find the same Part number 5 button switch as you have since they are not all configured the same. (even though they say superseded)
Another thing you need to look at is the blower motor itself. They get dirty and dried out creating...
Yeah, it sounds like you have been scammed for sure. That is the problem with F & F. You have zero protection against being scammed. Have you tried contacting PayPal to see if they can do anything for you?
The reason that resistor is mounted in the heater box is when the blower is on, it is moving air past that resistor helping to cool the coils. Not sure if that was your question or not.
