Picked up an LD 340 Manifold

Wow, that is a really nice casting. It looks like someone spent some time cleaning it up (or maybe polished it) in its past. They clean up nicely.

    Powder Coating

I've been on here for quite awhile now and can't help but notice a lack of mention on this subject in your restoration threads. Why is that? Are you guys concerned more with using "factory" finishes or just don't know much about it? I would like to help, and perhaps eventually see more of...

New type of valve covers for my build!

Stamped steel or aluminum? Those aren't as detailed as the ribbed version but they could still get customized a little.

Anyone ever rebuild a hood latch?

They have oiling areas at the rivets (look for small holes in the recesses around them). Sometimes you'll need to pound the "ears" flat where it mounts. Overall they're pretty simple.

Same here, the only Mopar people in town. It's kind of pretty here but I miss civilization and intelligence; some of these locals couldn't pour piss out of a boot if the instructions were embossed on the heel.

B5 Blue Owners -- Your Input is Requested!

You should be able to read it Chryco -- not sure why it's not opening for you since FABO is a public message board. I didn't download all of Tom's pictures but here's the write up. "Here are some images of Leanna's B5 Blue wheel on my old Barracuda spare tire wheel. The blue is very close...

Oh don't worry Robert, I will! The FedEx guy picked up the box early this morning so I should have some comparison pictures from the customer very soon. I'm not sure who is more anxious to see the results, him or me! LOL :D

B5 Blue Owners -- Your Input is Requested!

Actually Chryco, I've learned over the weekend (from the vast number of replies to my identical post on the sister sites) that there are several, some by model year and others referred to as the "alt" colors with a lettered prefix as you mentioned. There are also slight variances in the color...

B5 Blue Owners -- Your Input is Requested!

Keep it coming guys!!! Every bit of research and input is helpful and important to the end result here. Once I'm able to nail down a "base B5" color, I can doctor up my mix a bit to tailor it to each individual ride if I have a sample to work from. I really appreciate all the comments and...
