Great advice mayhem! A friend is telling me to be patient - to wait...
that the right car will come along. I have missed a few good one's already, kinda
sucks in knowing what could have been! The lesson is - one must know what your
exact price point will be - before the fact - with cash in hand...
is a 72 chally even worth this as a project? Listed price $13k
his claim rebuilt motor/trans = a few years ago???
No fender Tag No build sheet
*A BIG RED FLAG = Clear Title in owners name says 71
Vin# + body #s are 72
Don't know how that could even happen?
with all the cars I have owned - I...
what I have seen that should be replaced - If I was to purchase as a Project -
hard to say without up on a lift or raised for inspection of all-
some of the main parts - lots of Misc needed not listed here.

This now begging...
you know I should know these details since I once had a 70 challenger -
Its been many years ago... also only had her for couple years doing
maybe 1 or 2 oil changes. ( NOT PAYING ATTENTION AT THE TIME ABOUT
THE FRONT GRILLE ect. ect.... lol )
Question - is there a header panel for 70...
72 Challenger to a 70 front Grille ?
Just asking what's envolved?
I'm familiar with Cuda -
never working on Challenger body panel's -
1) other than having a 70 Grille -
2) are the headlight buckets the same?
3) Header panel change needed?
4) any brackets or bolts needed?
Interesting - a friend had a round alarm key lock in the side of his front fender.
I had a toggle Kill switch under the dash ( secondary live wire for the ignition ) splice cut
at the bottom column.

in a 70 cuda I had in the back seat, drivers side, mounted on the upper floor pan
just under the rear seat. Had a trunk/hood latch. Pull to unlock the latch of the rear trunk Lid.
It did have a key type lock in the tail panel -...
