I have a flat challenger hood that was NOS and purchased in the late 80's. It was in its original primer until we painted it a few years ago. It was only on the car for about a year stored indoors. It is in perfect shape. Painted 2010 Plum Crazy and has a Year One hood pad on the bottom. It...
I just got one from the autoparts store. I actually just took it off to upgrade to a late model MC. If you want to pay shipping on it I will give it to you. It wasn't a year old! Looked just like the OEM one it replaced. Its a little tired looking right now from laying on a shelf in the...
I am going to call March tomorrow and see what they say. Maybe I will just buy there kit and sell the Mopar one.
I do not have access to another car that works correctly. If you rev the car up it works 100%. I can't imagine that could be the voltage reg. I don't see any way it can't be the...
I need the rebound spring that goes on the back of a bucket seat. It absorbs the impact when the seat is flopped back into the upright position. It was lost by the guy that recovered my seats and he claims it wasn't there. JERK!
Also looking for a base gauge cluster for a challenger. Mine...
Hey guys. I am fighting a problem with my 71 Small Block Challenger. I wanted to get some input from the body of knowledge here.
Original Issues -
1. No charging at idle
2. Undercharging over 1200RPM (12.9v)
3. Rapid discharge driving around town causing radio to cut out, no signals, etc...
Ok, so I checked all 4 wheels and they are all the same. I measured the front rotors, same. Checked the control arms...measure the same. Everything up front measure the same but one thing.
Fender to inner fender. The close side is 1/2 to 3/4 farther in then the well spaced fender. Not...
Not a stupid question! I thought of that to so I swapped the wheels front to rear and the condition remains the same....but wait...I only did the one side. Maybe the one that sits back is the different one. I will look at that later today. :eusa_think:
Is the small port on that valve cover breather for the fuel tank vent tube attachment? I am looking for some way to deal with the vent line on my 71 ad I changed carbs and my new carb does not have an input for it.
I have a 71 Challenger with a 318 engine (as you might guess) and I have recently added an Edelbrock 1406 and performer intake manifold. My OEM setup (2bbl) and the 340 setup I had on it (thermoquad) had a nipple for the fuel tank vent hose to go to on the carb. The 1406 has no port for this...
Looking for a basic (large speedo) gauge cluster for my 71 Challenger to do a custom cluster. Cheap and only the speedo need work. Let me know what you have shipped to 22664, VA.
I will have the alignment adjusted sometime in the next weeks I am getting ready for my wedding so I can't really work on the car at all this week. It is 3/4in lower then it was when the alignment was done. It was already low and now it is lower still. When you say "at least -.05" how much do...
Tell me about it! There is not much space for those wide tires under the front. It is set "in spec" and then I lowerd it a bit so I would imagine it has some negative camber at this point. I might have it adjusted some more but for now the sways seem to have got it mostly solved.
I installed a set of swaybars and the greatly reduced body roll all but cured the tire hitting fender issue. Now it old happens if I am making a very fast right turn out of a parking lot.
As the title says, looking for a gear set. I would take a whole open diff if the price was right but I have a posi with 2.76 and I would like to get a little lower gear to help out the 318. I am located in Virginia.
