Restoration back to a good driver.

Found some links on the 3-D printed reproductions https://moparconnectionmagazine.com/iprint3d-companys-dash-vent-combo-for-70-74-dodge-challengers-plymouth-barracudas/ https://board.moparts.org/ubbthreads/ubbthreads.php/ubb/showflat/Number/3326417/gonew/1/70-challenger-air-dash-vents.html#UNREAD

Alan Foxx aka Ultimate Rides, Dash Pad Factory, Dash Pad Pros, has been arrested

Interesting. Sounds like he has been crooked for quite some time based on the various threads on several forums about him and his daughter.

    glass scratches

I recall reading a post somewhere where this compound was used for glass polishing. https://www.technologylk.com/__7816/cerium-oxide.html

    Door Panel Material

Scott Smith of Harms Auto used to post quite a bit over on Moparts. He was very into plastics and would post various techniques for various plastics. I recall the door panels being a plastic that was not conducive to repair. Way back (mid 1990's), there was a magazine (Mopar Action, Mopar...

Things do not seem to be going well over at e-bodies.org

I am members of Moparts, E-Bodies.Org and here. All the same screen name. Was also a member of www.Cuda-Challenger.com before that tanked. I find the knowledge base across all forums to be a much larger base to pull from then just one. I have probably 15-20 years of bookmarks by category...

    Proclaimed NOS parts rant

I’ve seen the term “NOS Take-Off” many times in ads. What does that mean? During the ‘80’s I bought many parts at the dealer. Many shipped without a box. 🤷

    Barracuda Convertible price question?

The vert parts are $$$ if all there. Lots of unique parts. I’ve seen parts lots offered in the $7-10k range of the unique parts to clone a hardtop into a vert. From top of memory - top assembly - stainless top trim at well - rear seat with track for boot - boot with clips - rear interior...

73 barracuda aftermarket quarter panels...wheel opening trim?

I recall reading a thread somewhere which showed tweaking done to the moldings. One guy used a shrinker/stretcher on the flange while another guy made pie cuts in the flange.

Key buzzers, horn relays & hard to find unnecessary stuff

Per Ai search..... "Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard 208 states that beginning January 1, 1972, passenger cars were required to have front safety belts with retractors and a safety-belt warning system. That’s when the warning light/buzzer would have been introduced"

Key buzzers, horn relays & hard to find unnecessary stuff

I don’t think seat belt light occurred till 73 model year. My 72 Cuda and 71 barracuda both had standard dashes. I got a rallye dash out of a 73 and installed it in my 72 years ago. It has a red seat belt light on the far right side of the dash where the wood grain wraps around and returns.
