Didn't you just finish a car?

Bluecifer 1970 Cuda B7 Blue Restoration

Well said RB73, my thoughts exactly. I spent all that money to get my dash redone, and now I have a nice carpet dash cover on it, so you can’t even tell. I should have just kept the old pad with the plastic dash cap, it looked awesome. Not sure I’ll leave my car to my son, but whoever ends up...

Value of ac components for a 1973 Cuda

Good input above, I'll throw out 1 more bit of advice. If you're like me and find it hard to throw out things, because you think you might use or sell it later. Only keep things that will fit in 1 of the USPS flat rate boxes. Takes the hassle out of getting shipping quotes when or if you...

Value of ac components for a 1973 Cuda

Definitely some value there, personally I would keep the AC box and ditch the rest. I held onto a dash frame like you have for 20yrs, through 3 moves. Finally sold it locally, no one wants to pay for shipping, for $75! I would have been ahead just throwing it out. So unless there's a big Mopar...

Bluecifer 1970 Cuda B7 Blue Restoration

Exactly right, I got mine from the Texas guy, looked ok, but once installed it sucked!

Followed me home just last week

I agree, drive and enjoy it. Worse thing you can do is to start "a restoration"......................it never ends. Make sure to only start 1 small manageable project at a time. Then drive it a while after that to enjoy the improvement.

    Yes

    oil filter

Only problem is that set of filter pliers is huge. If you have enough to use those, you don't need them.

    Winterized.

Sorry to hear that, I just "winterized" mine too. Changed the oil, going to be a lot of driving over the next 6 months.

Tachometer help. Where do I connect on 6.4 stock crate harness?

Glad to hear you got it sorted out. Do you have a pic of the instrument cluster, sounds interesting.

72 Challenger upgrade front disc brakes.

Good luck finding the spindles and brackets, these donor cars are 40yr old. All those are long gone around here.

    Brake Issues

Very nice, lots of good info. I just fought a "no pedal" issue for 2 weeks, what a nightmare.

Beautiful ride, so what's the "Dream Car"?

What size should the overflow tank be.

I used the factory truck part, I don't think 1 qt is enough. I'd plan for at least 3 qts. https://postimg.cc/DWSf1D3Y]

Tachometer help. Where do I connect on 6.4 stock crate harness?

So what model tach do you have? So with it connected to OBD port it's a digital signal.

    Switching from a 904 to a 46R?

It's a shame that guide went away with the C-C site. Me and others used that template for our OD swaps. The 518 is by far the best mod I've done. Car is so much more enjoyable to drive. https://postimages.org/]
