I just redid my brakes and didn't notice that loop. If I had to guess, the loop would go to the outside. That way, no matter how unlikely, it would stop the spring from rotating.
I don't think it really matters though.

Well said RB73, my thoughts exactly.
I spent all that money to get my dash redone, and now I have a nice carpet dash cover on it, so you can’t even tell. I should have just kept the old pad with the plastic dash cap, it looked awesome.
Not sure I’ll leave my car to my son, but whoever ends up...
Good input above, I'll throw out 1 more bit of advice.
If you're like me and find it hard to throw out things, because you think you might use or sell it later. Only keep things that will fit in 1 of the USPS flat rate boxes.
Takes the hassle out of getting shipping quotes when or if you...
Definitely some value there, personally I would keep the AC box and ditch the rest. I held onto a dash frame like you have for 20yrs, through 3 moves. Finally sold it locally, no one wants to pay for shipping, for $75!
I would have been ahead just throwing it out. So unless there's a big Mopar...
I agree, drive and enjoy it.
Worse thing you can do is to start "a restoration"......................it never ends.
Make sure to only start 1 small manageable project at a time. Then drive it a while after that to enjoy the improvement.
