Most valuable car I've owned, 71 454/4spd/AC car, but the least fun to drive.
You'd think a convertible in FL would be great, it was awful 8-10 months of the year when the sun bakes you, drive 30 mins and you needed sun screen.
So it was OK, for the few months when it was cool...
I think you hit the nail square on the head, a 4spd, like a convertible, seems like a good idea until you actually have it.
So I agree, they look great in the garage or at a car show. Everyone loves seeing that huge walking stick Hurst shifter.
But to actually drive it regularly, not so great.
Ronbo,
Do you have additional details on this?

Car runs great, want to get the AC going now.

Sorry I'm not able to help,
I used a factory 2016 radiator with a Dakota filler, it has top hose on passenger side and bottom hose on driver's side. So it made getting hoses and fan simple.

Just out of curiosity, can you actually hear those speakers?
Seems like any kind of aftermarket exhaust will drown out anything but an amplifier driven 6x9.
Not to mention they are angled up and away out the windshield.
I know this isn't for everyone, but works perfect for me.
I'll keep the carpet floor mats in the other 3 spots, but this rubber mat for driver's spot is going to make cleaning easier.
Carpet floor mats always get embedded with dirt every time I golf, go to JY, and just in general.

I was able to reuse the dipstick that came with the 5.7 crate motor.
Removed from right side, and with a little tweak, it fit between my TTI shortie headers on the left side. Straight shot down to the Holley pan.
